As Arborgreen’s Product Analyst Sam harnesses 23 years of tried and tested experience in the industry, to refine Arborgreen’s products and offerings. His extensive product knowledge makes him a go-to ally for providing the best tools for better environments. Sam is passionate about everything planting and landscaping. From preparing the site to getting plants into the ground – nurturing them to success and ongoing maintenance, he is dedicated to offering products and advice that enhance the outcomes of customers projects.

Mary-Claire is the passionate face of partnering with Arborgreen. As Arborgreen’s Partnerships Manager, she is dedicated to fostering opportunities for Arborgreen to work with organisations and groups of all shapes and sizes to produce exceptional outcomes together. Having worked with the Arborgreen team for 5+ years, Mary-Claire has developed a remarkable ability to create positive customer experiences. Her passion for sustainability and her talent for nurturing partnerships make her an indispensable ally in the pursuit of a greener future.

Ian grew up on an orchard near Orange in NSW, where his father was one of the early pioneers in organic fruit farming in the early 1970’s. He has continued his interest in agriculture and after a long career in finance, decided to focus on urban horticulture. Ian co-founded WaterUps with Vince Hunt in 2014. Ian has been an avid rock climber and mountaineer for 40 years

Matt Nash is the director of Prestige Surfaces, with an impressive 20-year tenure specializing in natural & man-made stone and concrete maintenance, protection, and longevity. His expertise has been honed through extensive collaboration with top-tier landscape architects and contractors, making him a well respected figure in the landscaping industry.

Andy is a Director at StoneSet Permeable Paving. Having founded the company 15 years ago with Tori, he is one of the most skilled installers of resin bound paving in Australia, although he is mostly off the tools these days Andy is the expert in everything Resin Bound Stone.

Tori, the Founder & Sales Director at StoneSet Permeable Paving, co-manages the business with her brother, Andy. With two decades of experience in the resin-bound paving sector, she is passionate about engaging in projects from the onset. Tori collaborates with homeowners, architects, and councils to deliver bespoke paving solutions, integrating water-sensitive design elements for a stunning finish.

Joshua is Green Life Turf’s lawn legend, a third-generation turf expert, grew up in the family business with a lifelong passion for turf. He handles everything from engaging with customers to ensuring timely deliveries, always working behind the scenes to uphold the high standards and values of Green Life Turf.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Joe is a second generation turf farmer, now focusing on global plant research and development programs through his current role at Lawn Solutions Australia. Joe and his team manage the largest turf research facility in the world, located in his home town of Berry, NSW. Joe has devoted the last decade of his career to pursuing a personal passion for R&D in the hunt for new and improved turf grass cultivars, which offer environmental and economic benefits to producers and end users. Through his work with LSA, Joe runs a national education seminar series for ALIA members, local government parks teams, commercial and residential landscapers, sports field construction companies, and the golf industry to assist with turf selection, specification and maintenance of open space and turf landscapes.
Jason Hodges has been working with gardens his entire life thanks to his dad ‘Monty’, the bricklayer who inspired him as a kid. He has now been involved in the industry for over 30 years and has spent many of that as the main landscaping presenter on Better Homes & Gardens, where he graced our TV screens for 20 years. Jason still owns and runs his own horticultural business today, growing Buxus Balls at his suitably names ‘Buxus Balls of Berry’ in Berry NSW. Jason has also been a long time brand ambassador and turf industry representative with Lawn Solutions Australia.

Ben is the Senior Manager of Customer Success at Vectorworks Australia and a non-practising architect in the state of Victoria. His professional journey began in 1996 working for renowned architect and TV personality Peter Maddison. Ben introduced Vectorworks (formally MiniCAD) to Peter’s office at a time when hand-drawing was still the order of the day. Ben’s career further expanded as he contributed to notable Victorian landmarks such as the Southern Cross Station, collaborating with the acclaimed English architectural firm Grimshaw, and later joining John Wardle Architects as an Associate.

011 Ben began his own architectural practice, choosing Vectorworks for its power and utility. Over the ensuing years and with his keen interest in Vectorworks, Ben developed a close connection with OzCAD, and in 2018 Ben formally became part of the Vectorworks team

With firsthand experience in the architectural field, Ben understands intrinsically the struggles and expectations of the working professional. He is laser-focused on developing content and workflows that are practical, useful and efficient. Ben especially enjoys working with the landscape design community and is very active in this growing segment of the Vectorworks community.

Richard Unsworth is a leading garden designer and writer based in Sydney, and the owner of renowned outdoor design store Garden Life. Having grown up in Yorkshire, England, Richard moved to Sydney in the 1990s in search of love, adventure, and better weather. He furthered his love of gardening with formal study in urban horticulture and started his first business, focusing on inner-city garden design. In 2001, he opened his first store, Garden Life. He has since expanded his design practice to work in larger spaces both in the city and further afield. Richard’s love of travel and adventure has taken him to places far and wide, to find inspiration and source old and new wares for his store. Whether riding a vintage motorbike up the highest passable road on the planet or treasure hunting in the souks of Marrakech, he is equally at home. Passionate about the natural environment, he spends his free time writing, restoring a heritage garden and home called Trincomalee, in Sydney’s Pittwater, and helping people better connect with nature and with each other through a series of bushwalks to raise money for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.

Recently he co-founded with Beck Colechin a new design practice called Studio UC, and will publish his third book The Natural Gardener in October 2024.

All contracts and Guides are purchased at the risk of those making the purchase.

TLA does not have access to the customer’s credit card number which is encrypted for security purposes. The credit card will be debited at the time of processing the payment. A tax invoice/receipt will be automatically generated and emailed to the customer.

Orders are ordinarily dispatched by Australia Post, Express Post, within seven working days. Five days should be allowed for delivery. This timeframe is indicative only. Every reasonable effort will be made to notify the customer if a delay is expected.

Provided an order has not been dispatched, it may be cancelled in full or part by calling The Landscape Association on (02) 9630 4844. Returns are not accepted by The Landscape Association unless the customer has received an unordered or faulty item, or unless otherwise required under Australian legislation.
