Lockdown extended across NSW

The Public Health Order regarding NSW COVID-related restrictions in NSW has been updated with the following key changes which will take affect from 12:01am, Monday 16 August 2021:

 

Regional NSW Stay at Home order:

  • The restrictions currently in place for Greater Sydney (excluding the 12 LGAs of concern) will now apply across all of NSW. This amendment came into effect at 5pm, Saturday 14 August and will extend to 12:01am, Sunday 22 August 2021.
  • For information regarding what this means in regard to construction in un-occupied sites, click here.
  • For information regarding what this means for renovations and maintenance in occupied sites, click here.
  • Certain businesses, including garden centres, plant nurseries and landscaping material suppliers, may remain open. See a full list here.
  • Anyone wishing to enter regional NSW will now require a permit to do so. We will share information regarding application for permits as it is released.

 

Changes to the Stay at Home order:

  • Across NSW (excluding the LGAs of concern), people can now only travel within a 5km radius of their home for the purposes of exercise or obtaining essential goods and services. This does not apply to authorised workers travelling for work.
  • People living or staying within the 12 LGAs of concern are now prevented from undertaking outdoor recreation, but allowed to leave their home for the purpose of supervising a child (12 years or younger) who is undertaking exercise or play.
  • If people have a second home, they are no longer allowed to travel between homes, other than where the home is being used for work accommodation, or if the home requires urgent maintenance work, in which case, only one person at a time may travel there.
  • It is now legislated that people must answer all questions from contact tracers.
  • People living alone within the LGAs of concern must now register their ‘singles bubble’ person.

 

Increased fines for non-compliance with the Public Health Order:

Increased fines for Public Health Order breaches will apply from 12.01am, Monday, 16 August as follows:

  • $5,000 on the spot fine for breaching self-isolation rules;
  • $5,000 on the spot fine for lying on a permit (already a criminal offence);
  • $5,000 on the spot fine for lying to a contact tracer (already a criminal offence);
  • $3,000 on the spot fine for breaching the two person outdoor exercise/recreation rule; and
  • $3,000 on the spot fine for breaching rules around entry into regional NSW for authorised work, inspecting real estate and travelling to your second home.

All contracts and Guides are purchased at the risk of those making the purchase.

TLA does not have access to the customer’s credit card number which is encrypted for security purposes. The credit card will be debited at the time of processing the payment. A tax invoice/receipt will be automatically generated and emailed to the customer.

Orders are ordinarily dispatched by Australia Post, Express Post, within seven working days. Five days should be allowed for delivery. This timeframe is indicative only. Every reasonable effort will be made to notify the customer if a delay is expected.

Provided an order has not been dispatched, it may be cancelled in full or part by calling The Landscape Association on (02) 9630 4844. Returns are not accepted by The Landscape Association unless the customer has received an unordered or faulty item, or unless otherwise required under Australian legislation.

The Landscape Association reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.
