Landscape Tradesman

Now & Zen Landscapes Pty Ltd is a multi-award winning landscape company that has been servicing the Blue Mountains and Bellingen Shire in Landscape design, construction and maintenance since 1999.
The company is owned and operated by Shannon Decker who has 30 years
experience in the industry. Now & Zen are going through an exciting period of growth, and we are looking for the right people to join us who share our values!
The position is responsible for assisting the site foreman in day to day running of landscape projects, you must be able
to understand the scope of works and programming requirements.
This is a hands-on position that will reward the right person with job satisfaction.

The requirements

Responsibilities:
• Carry out all Landscaping works as per the contracted scope of works.
• WH&S requirements to adhere with all company policies.
• Read and interpret plans.
• Assist & work with the team to ensure Projects are completed to a high quality & in a timely manner.
• Be proactive and provide regular updates to the site foreman.
• Ensure effective and safe use of all machinery and equipment on site.
• Mentor apprentices.
• Track expenses on jobs

Qualifications:
• At least 2 years experience in Landscape Construction as a tradesman (If you are not a landscape tradesman but possess other trades ie: carpentry, bricklaying or concreting please apply as your skills are relevant to this trade.)
• Trade certificate in Landscaping or relevant experience.
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong knowledge and use of all relevant equipment utilised within the Landscaping industry.
• Current WHS White Card
