Apprenticeship Structural Landscaping

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Landscaper to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop a variety of landscaping and trade skills, working alongside experienced professionals in a supportive and dynamic environment.
You’ll complete a Certificate III in Landscape Construction whilst working with SDL Creations over 4 Years through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation and practical on-the-job experience doing residential projects with our company.
The Training Structure is set up for the first 8 months learning the basic landscape garden skills.
From 8mths – 2 yrs, working and training alongside our tradesman learning the crafts of carpentry and related building works.

The Role –
The Landscape Apprentice position encompasses a range of responsibilities, including:
• Undertaking general landscaping, gardening, and labouring tasks.
• Engaging in activities such as planting, turf laying, mulching, and site preparation.
• Ensuring a clean and safe work environment on a regular basis.
• Actively participating in daily reporting sessions and toolbox talks.
• Setting out and installing both hardscape and softscape structures.
• Construction of gravel and paved areas, walls, fences, pergolas, barbecues, and bench seating.
• Planting grass or laying turf according to plans.
• Learning carpentry and related building works.
• Providing support and coordination for other team members as required or directed on-site.
• Learn to work alongside contractors.
• Developing skills on all plant and equipment.
• Learn the process of a project from start to finish.

The requirements

Requirements:
• A genuine interest in landscaping and outdoor construction.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Be willing to complete the study to gain the qualification
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Have time management & attention to detail
• A reliable and proactive attitude.
• Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Current driver’s license and own transport (preferred).

TLA does not have access to the customer’s credit card number which is encrypted for security purposes. The credit card will be debited at the time of processing the payment. A tax invoice/receipt will be automatically generated and emailed to the customer.

Orders are ordinarily dispatched by Australia Post, Express Post, within seven working days. Five days should be allowed for delivery. This timeframe is indicative only. Every reasonable effort will be made to notify the customer if a delay is expected.

Provided an order has not been dispatched, it may be cancelled in full or part by calling The Landscape Association on (02) 9630 4844. Returns are not accepted by The Landscape Association unless the customer has received an unordered or faulty item, or unless otherwise required under Australian legislation.
