Garden Maintenance Assistant/Horticulture Trainee/Apprentice

We work on gardens of all shapes and sizes, from small courtyards in Paddington to large farmhouses in the Southern Highlands & Maitland. We are looking for a Garden Maintenance Assistant/Trainee/Apprentice who loves the outdoors, has a keen interest in plants, is highly motivated and has a good work ethic to assist with our experienced team leaders to maintain and improve our clients' gardens. This is ideally a full-time position but part-time could be negotiated.

The requirements

To be a successful candidate in this hands-on role, you will have or be working towards:

Certificate in Horticulture (We can also assist in Traineeships etc);
WHS White Card;
Be self-motivated, present yourself in a professional manor and have a positive attitude;
Strong communication skills with both client facing and internal conversations;
A keen eye for detail;
Be proficient in the use of whipper snippers, hedgers & lawn mowers.

TLA does not have access to the customer’s credit card number which is encrypted for security purposes. The credit card will be debited at the time of processing the payment. A tax invoice/receipt will be automatically generated and emailed to the customer.

Orders are ordinarily dispatched by Australia Post, Express Post, within seven working days. Five days should be allowed for delivery. This timeframe is indicative only. Every reasonable effort will be made to notify the customer if a delay is expected.

Provided an order has not been dispatched, it may be cancelled in full or part by calling The Landscape Association on (02) 9630 4844. Returns are not accepted by The Landscape Association unless the customer has received an unordered or faulty item, or unless otherwise required under Australian legislation.
