Landscape Construction Forman

NBG Landscapes is boutique landscape design, construction and maintenance business servicing the Lower North Shore, Northern Beaches, City, Inner West and Eastern Suburbs.

We are a team of 13, made up of landscape designers, structural landscapers, carpenters, horticulturists, apprentices and general labourers.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tradesman (Ideally carpenter or structural landscaper) to take on a Foreman role and join our team. Or someone who thinks they are ready to make the progression in their career.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the construction of high end landscape projects, ensuring that projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The Foreman will work closely with the Project Manager, and will be responsible for leading and directing a team and subcontractor's to ensure the successful completion of projects.

The requirements

• Plan and execute landscape construction projects in a timely and efficient manner.

• Lead and direct a team of skilled workers to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

• Communicate regularly with the Project Manager to ensure that projects are progressing as planned and that any issues are addressed promptly.

• Manage project budgets and help coordinate with suppliers, and sub contractors.

• Ensure that all safety regulations and best practices are followed on job sites.

• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean job site.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in landscape construction.

• Experience managing and leading a team. (This is not essential)

• Extensive knowledge of landscape construction techniques and materials.

• Excellent project management and organizational skills.

• Ability to read and interpret plans.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
