To show your commitment to COVID Safety and keep the community safe TLA are recommending that all Member businesses register as a COVID Safe businesses.

Registering as a COVID Safe business is mandatory for hospitality venues such as cafes, restaurants, food and drink premises, micro-breweries, cellar doors, casinos, registered clubs, small bars and casinos.

For our industry it is mandatory to have a COVID-19 Safety Plan, but optional to register it.  COVID-19 Safety Plans help to protect your staff, clients and visitors.

Complete a COVID-19 Safety Plan

The plan for our industry provides advice on:

  • hygiene and safety
  • physical distancing
  • recording contact details of staff and clients
  • staff wellbeing.

When you’re completing your plan, consult with your staff, and share it with them when it’s done.  Complete a COVID Safety Plan.

The ACT does not require the use of a standard template for ACT businesses to use when developing their COVID Safety Plan, as the ACT is looking to try and maintain a level of flexibility for businesses.

Please click here to access the ACT Guidelines for your Covid Safety Plan.   If all matters within this Guideline document are addressed in a written or electronic form that can be produced during a compliance check, this will be sufficient to constitute a COVID Safety Plan for your business.  For businesses seeking a template you can use the NSW information.
