Update to the JobKeeper Payment

The Government has extended the JobKeeper Payment scheme from 28 September 2020 until 28 March 2021.

Changes from 14 August 2020 mean:

  • more employees can qualify – see the ATO’s information on eligible employees here
  • a payment extension to 31 August – see the ATO’s information on JobKeeper key dates here
  • new information is available on long-term casual employees. See ATO’s information here

 

What does this mean for my business?

More employees can qualify

A number of new eligible employees will now be entitled to receive the JobKeeper Payment, including:

  • Full time or part time employees who commenced employment after 1 March and were employed with you on 1 July;
  • Casual employees who did not originally meet the set criteria for ‘long-term casual employee’ (12 months employment) as of 1 March, but have since met this criteria by 1 July;
  • Employees who have since turned 16-18 years of age by 1 July and meet independence or study criteria;
  • Employees who have obtained Australian residency and the required visa by 1 July 2020.

TLA does not have access to the customer’s credit card number which is encrypted for security purposes. The credit card will be debited at the time of processing the payment. A tax invoice/receipt will be automatically generated and emailed to the customer.

Orders are ordinarily dispatched by Australia Post, Express Post, within seven working days. Five days should be allowed for delivery. This timeframe is indicative only. Every reasonable effort will be made to notify the customer if a delay is expected.

Provided an order has not been dispatched, it may be cancelled in full or part by calling The Landscape Association on (02) 9630 4844. Returns are not accepted by The Landscape Association unless the customer has received an unordered or faulty item, or unless otherwise required under Australian legislation.

The Landscape Association reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.
